Terms of Use

Last updated: November 6, 2026

By using Todo (“the app”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The service

Todo is a task manager that runs in your browser. It can optionally sync your data to your own Google Drive when you sign in with Google. How data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

Your data and responsibilities

  • You own what you put in the app. We do not claim any rights over your tasks.
  • Your data lives in your browser and, if you choose, in your Google Drive. You are responsible for keeping copies you care about: use Settings → Export backup regularly.
  • Clearing your browser’s site data, or deleting the app’s data in Google, removes that copy.
  • You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for what you store in the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including by:

  • using it to break the law or to store unlawful content;
  • trying to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the app or its hosting;
  • reverse engineering the sign-in or sync features to access other people’s accounts or data.

Google services

Sign-in and Drive sync rely on Google. Your use of those services is also governed by Google’s own terms and policies. We are not responsible for changes to, or outages of, Google services.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that data will never be lost.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app.

Changes and ending use

We may change the app or these terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do, and continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using the app at any time, and remove your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
